Nepal vs Philippines - Live Scores Streaming and TV Information

Nepal National Team will take on Philippines in a friendly match which will be played on Doha, Qatar on April 11. The friendly match might be a match full of pressure for Nepal National Team which has faced lots of criticism from the fans and the football analyst recent.

After a defeat to lowly ranked Yemen, Nepal will take on Philippines in a friendly match, which certainly suggests that the team could be morally down. Philippines is a strong set team that has been preparing itself for AFC Challenge cup as the winner of the tournament gets into the Asia Cup which will be played in Australia.

Bimal Gharti Magar, the Nepalese hero would not be available for the match as he has been training with Anderlecht and will be playing Aegon Future cup with the team. Bimal could have got more senior team experience before he could represent Nepal in AFC U16 Championship, the test Nepal U16 team has been waiting for to try their luck in the U17 World Cup.

Coach Raju Kaji Shakya has removed Karna Limbu from the squad, however the reason has been told that Karna did not receive Visa to travel Qatar for the friendly match while others did. Biraj Maharjan has returned for the team while Bijay Dhimal has missed the visit due to an injury.

AFC U16 Champions - The Boys Needs Step Up

Nepal U16 team will participate in AFC U16 championship which is set to kick off in September in Thailand. They will be participating alongside Asia's biggest teams like China, Japan and Iran and face a tough task to make it to the final four if they are supposed to make it to the U17 World Cup 2015.

The U16 teams has been doing great to defeat the B division outfits like Madhyapur Youth Association, Chyasal Youth club but this could be nothing more than a joke for the U16 side that needs to step up to match the level of Football which will be played in Thailand.
The AFC U16 championship is not only about world cup but its is also about Nepal's future in a long term. We must be aware of the fact that the players during the tournament will be eyed by top clubs for their youth academy and if the players impress during the tournament, they will be given chance. Scouts from different places will be eyeing the tournament, so ANFA must act and improve the skills of the players.
Also when I saw the U16's game during the AAHA RARA gold cup, the players were concerned about the individual performance than the team play. The coaches must take care of this and they must provide some kind of counseling class in order to boost up the moral and team respect to the guys.
